What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxGlenAWilsonHigh, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGlenAWilsonHigh event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

About the Event:

TEDxGlenAWilsonHigh is an independently organized TED event held in Glen A. Wilson High School. It is entirely staffed and organized by a group of teens dedicated to change their communty and influence the world. It is the FIRST TEDx to be hosted by a high school in the San Gabriel Valley. It is also one of the very few if not only TEDx event entirely orgainzed by teens in the  world and the rarest of them all, it is NOT funded and it's entirely FREE and OPEN to the Public, having seven amazing LIVE talks!

" We must dare to think 'unthinkable' thoughts. We must learn to explore all the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly changing world."

- J. William Fulbright
